Event Lab's New President
On June 5, 2006, Event Lab welcomed Jack Noble as its new President. As President of Event Lab, Jack enjoys the opportunity to lead the sales and operations teams, as well as oversee the company's finances and growth.

Jack's knowledge and experience comes from his career in the travel industry. In 1992, after completing a double major in college, Jack started as an accountant at a large local travel agency. There, he worked his way through the various departments, including accounting, operations, development, and eventually management. He also earned an MBA from the Carlson School of Management in 2000. When the company was sold in 2004, Jack was at the helm. As President and COO, he was responsible for the entire 800 employee, $500 million company.

Jack believes that managing a company begins with enthusiasm, teamwork, and a strict focus on the customer. His diverse experience gives him insight into what makes a company successful. As President, his job is to provide the employees at Event Lab with the knowledge, experience, support, and resources necessary to make every event truly unique and memorable for every customer.

Jack and his wife, Jennifer, live in Eden Prairie with their three young children. In their spare time they enjoy traveling, golfing, reading, and spending as much time as possible with their family and friends.

Wicked Design
The dual characters of the good witch and bad witch carried the theme of the Broadway-comes-to-town hit, "Wicked." This theme set the stage for a pre-show reception held in the Walker Room above the State Theatre for a special client of Event Lab's. The creative team designed the room to split in half - one side representing Glinda, the good witch, and the other side representing Elfaba, the bad witch. Even the food was split between good and bad (drinks and sweets: bad; fruit and veggies: good). The good side was draped in pink with centerpieces of soft pink roses, tiaras, and wands. Green witch broom and hats flew from the dark side, while black shoes and cauldrons were filled with green and (as close to black as you can get) flowers. But... the piece de la resistance was the centerpiece of the buffet. A 12-foot tall real-life witch, half good and half bad, commanded all attention as she peered over theatergoers.

Event Lab Selected for the Symphony Ball
Event Lab was thrilled to be a part of the décor team selected for the Symphony Ball held at The Depot in June. This annual event is always well noted for the attention to design and detail. Event Lab created a stunning backdrop for "Miami's Sound," as well as surrounding the room with floor to ceiling white linen drapery. To further carry out the theme, "Los Beillemos" ("Let's Dance"), a Latin cigar lounge, was created in the shed area of The Depot. Complete with white lounge furniture, lush greenery, and soft candlelight, this area proved to be the afterglow hit of the night.
