Partnering with Martin Bastian and the CCRF staff, Event Lab was honored to bring together all theme and décor elements in celebration of the 26th annual "Dawn of a Dream" at The Depot in Minneapolis. The event theme, "How Far Will You Go?" challenged our design team – where could we go with that theme in color and décor elements, what "look" would create excitement, fun, and synergy to flow throughout all areas of The Depot. When completed, the jewel tone color scheme of the "Dawn of a Dream" logo was pulled in and flowed from the silk draping across the ceiling of the Rink down to the lacquered square chargers, overlays, and gold chiavari chairs. Hand cut and painted elements to replicate the beautiful and colorful logo were made into a hanging mobile greeting guests in the Winter Garden and enhancing the
backdrop of the stage and throughout the Great Hall. It was a magical night with a resounding, "It is absolutely the most beautiful 'look' we have ever had" from our partners and guests!
Fam Glam 2006 It was a visually spectacular evening and the 4th consecutive year that the creative team at Event Lab designed and provided all of the décor for the annual Ronald McDonald House Gala. Guests raved about the color combination of copper and fuchsia spandex on tabletops and chair covers – a look that gave the room a glamorous yet contemporary look. Overhead, the ceiling was swathed in richly accompanying colored fabric, completing the knock-out décor.
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Event Lab was pleased to sponsor the October MPI luncheon at the Marriott Southwest in Minnetonka. The linen and table centerpieces were designed to celebrate the bounty of fall and to enhance the new décor in the hotels signature ballroom. "It was a beautifully striking, elegant look – very appropriate for the room, meeting, and season," were just some of the comments made by several attendees.
